Standard Summer Tour - 2013  

No Reservations Required, just be here 90 min before closing (see hours ).  Make sure you have good walking shoes with rubber soles and can easily climb up and down uneven steps to be ready for our standard self-guided tour (see health restrictions ). We provide you with a numbered map and you follow the ¾ mile marked trail with signs to explore at your own pace. Plan on spending about an hour for the tour.

Group Tour Information - 2013

This is a rigorous guided tour is offered one time/day (available on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & Wed) (arrive here by 12:30pm - tour takes approximately 3-4 hours). Tour requires 4 minimum to 10 maximum participants, by reservation only.  Separate parties are combined for the tour.  Participants will be asked to fill out the application forms prior to arrival. This tour requires passing through several “tight” spots (if you require a 3x large suit - you will not be able to "fit"), crawling on wet, muddy and rough rock and ends with a cave float through a tunnel. Participants must not be claustrophobic, and be in fairly good physical shape with good upper body strength and able to swim (even though you will be supported by a personal floatation device during the cave float). Participants must be able to comfortably crawl through our “test cave crawl box” prior to being approved for the tour. Management has the right to refuse anyone not deemed fit for this tour.

FOR AVAILABILITY, FIRST CHECK OUT THE CALENDAR (LINK at the top of this page). Tours are not offered on days marked "no adventure tours", but are available on other days (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & Wed) until the tour is filled with 4-10 participants.  Check back often to view calendar as the tours often fill up only days before the tour.

GROUPS:  With prior arrangements, we can handle groups (scouts etc) up to 20 participants.  Due to the demands of the tour, there are no group discounts.

NOTE:  Weather conditions (recent thunderstorms) can cause flooding of the Adventure Tour caves (but not our standard tour).  Please check our calendar for up to the date information regarding cancellations or call at 9am the day of your tour (518-494-2283) as water levels change by hour.  If cancelled, you will receive a full.  Please understand we cannot control Mother Nature!

* The full price ($74.77 + 7% tax= $80.00) per person is required for deposit upon making the reservation and will be refunded if cancelled 1 day prior to the scheduled tour or if the participant cannot successfully navigate our “test cave crawl” or is deemed by our guide unfit to participate.

This is rigorous, strenuous tour and not for everyone.

WINTER SNOWSHOE TOUR DAY PASS - 2012/2013

CLOSED FOR THE SEASON

Bring your own snowshoes and poles or rent a pair for the day for only $5.00 (CALL AHEAD TO RESERVE, LIMITED SUPPLY) and get ready for our self-guided tour. We provide you with a numbered map and you follow the 10 miles of marked trails with markers, reflectors & trail head signs/arrows to explore at your own pace. Plan on averaging 1mph over the trails (allowing time for stops and pictures).   What to bring?  Go Here and scroll down to bottom of page.

As an added incentive to get out of the house in the winter,  included for FREE, unlimited use our our 9 hole "Intro to Golf" Course - including the use of free rental discs (or bring your own!)  What a bargain.

Not enough time to do it all in a day?  No problem!

 WINTER SNOWSHOE TOUR SATURDAY EVENING PASS 2012/2013

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED, CALL AHEAD (518-494-2283). 

Note:  Not offered during poor weather (snow storm/rain).  Not much to see during such an event!

Bring your own snowshoes and poles or rent a pair for the night for only $5.00 (CALL AHEAD TO RESERVE, LIMITED SUPPLY) and get ready for our 40 min guided tour of the Stone Bridge (lit up), followed by the optional guided exploration of our trails (additional 1-2 hours, length is up to you).  

Available on Saturday evening only (ONE TOUR at 6pm ONLY).  Plan to be here at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled tour departure as they depart at 6pm sharp.  No self-guided tours are available in the evening.

You will return to a warm campfire and marshmallows.  One Hot Drink Included with the Tour.  Additional hot drinks and snacks are also available for purchase.   

Also, free use of the Disc Golf Course is included and Season Day Passes are available for an additional $5.00 (if you want to return as many times as you like to see it during the daylight).

 SNOWSHOEING LIABILITY WAIVER

While as an activity snowshoeing is quite safe, all participants will be required to sign the NSB&C SNOWSHOE WAIVER before venturing out on the trails.  Please feel free to view or print it off before arriving.  Most of all... HAVE FUN!
